Mother Charged With Whipping Daughter With Extension Cord
A mother has been arrested, according to Dover, Delaware police she whipped her 6-year-old daughter with an extension cord for not listening to her.
Nivia Brown, 28, of Dover, has been charged with assault and endangering the welfare of child. Brown was arrested after a family member reported the 6-year-old’s injuries to the Department of Services for Children, Youth and their Families.
Upon being arrested, Brown told detectives she did it because her daughter didn’t listen to her.
